We need forever homes for our fabulous dogs that are now ready for adoption. All our homeless hounds are microchipped, de-wormed, de-flead, vaccinated, neutered/spayed and have undergone behavioural assessments. Please click the adopt me button to see our dogs.
We urgently need foster homes for our dogs. Foster homes are our most sought after request as without foster carers we cant save more dogs. As a rescue, we do not operate kennels of any kind, we are a foster based rescue which means all the dogs that come in to our care, go into loving foster homes where they are cared for and assessed until they find their forever homes. Fostering is very rewarding and we cover all expenses. To find out more about fostering or if you would like become a foster parent please click the foster me button.
Sponsor A Kennel
We have new dogs coming in to the rescue on a weekly basis but unfortunately we do not have enough foster homes. Until foster homes can be found we have to use emergency boarding kennels, this is not ideal but it saves a dog from being put to sleep in the pound. Please help us keep these dogs safe by sponsoring a kennel. To find out more click the button below.
Transporters and Homecheckers
We are always keen to build on our wonderful network of transporters and homecheckers. As we are a foster based rescue, we have a network of foster families from all over Scotland, this means that we need help from transporters to bring our dogs from the pound and into their new temporary/forever homes and to and from vet appointments. We also get offers from families all over Scotland to adopt our dogs so we need homecheckers that are available from different areas that can check out our potential adoptees to see if its a suitable enviroment for one of our dogs.
As we are a non profit rescue, we rely on donations, fundraisers and adoption fees. Without this, the rescue wouldn't survive as we could not afford to spey/neuter our dogs, we would not be able to vaccinate, microchip or de-worm and de-flea every dog, not to mention the dogs that require vet treatment or surgery. Little things such as food, beds, blankets, collars, leads and toys all add up too. We need people willing to fundraise or host events for us, any ideas are welcome such as bake sales, coffee mornings, bingo tea's and ladies nights or for the more daring what about abseiling or parachute jump? Any idea no matter how big or small is welcomed. We would also like to recruit any talented crafters that would be willing to make and donate items for our auctions. If you want to get involved click the button below for more information.
We welcome money donations big or small, even if every one just donated £1 it would go along way. We also accept donations of items such as food, bowls, toys, beds, blackets, collars and leads. We even have an amazon wishlist so you can order one of our much needed items and it will be sent straight to us. With more than one way to donate there is an option for everyone!
Social Media Superstars
To raise awareness of our rescue we need people to share our posts on various social media outlets, this improves the chances of our dogs being seen and adopted and also helps us to recruit volunteers. If you can spare half an hour in your day to share our posts add us on Facebook and Twitter.
Do you have a hidden talent? Perhaps you have a crafy hobbie or even run your own craft business? We are always looking for talented and generous people that can make dog leads, collars and beds for our rescue dogs but we are also in need of generous people willing to donate a small selection of their craftwares that we can use for our auctions. Auction items do not have to be doggy related. If you are feeling generous and would like to donate to our dogs or donate items for our auction please contact us.
